I've had a few bad experiences with restaurant-based romance stories. Luckily, this one wasn't too bad. I thought that the couple had good chemistry, and they were interesting together. The lesson of the book wasn't a bad one, either: don't be afraid to take chances.
The part that concerns me most about this book are the previews for the rest of the series.
They all basically boil down to: woman who works at the wedding planning company thinks she knows what she's looking for. A man shows up, and she learns that that's not REALLY what she wanted.
I mean...well, I suppose that's kind of the way it goes in this book, too.
Hmm.
This was a fun read, but I can't really say I liked it.
It was a bit...bland.
Thank you! I'll be here all night!
