I've read a few of Shakespeare's sonnets before - you know, the ones they usually parade in front of you while you're in school. "How do I compare thee to a summer day" and all. This is my first time reading them all, one after another.
There was a very narrative-like feel to them. I could feel the progression of the overall story throughout one sonnet to the next. It was kind of depressing, actually.
The language flowed very smoothly. This wasn't a hard or painful read at all.
As expected from the Bard.
